After a most devastating Second World War, when most of the German capital laid in ruins, the victorious occupying powers decided to first divide the city in 4 sectors, but eventually in 2 separate parts, one for each of the new Germanys: East & West. Inevitably, divided Berlin soon turned into the center of the golden age of spionage, as it was vital for the superpowers behind the governments at both side of the wall, to learn as much as possible about each other´s intentions there and in Europe at large.

 

Additionally to the very intriguing stories, characters and crazy situations, which cannot be surpassed even by fiction in movies, this tour will bring you closer to the understanding of the real dimension of the competition for information, in all levels, that persist even to this day, and the unimaginable extent in which this period greatly shaped the world we are living in.
